Non-Alcoholic Eggnog recipe

An uncooked eggnog…before proceedingwith this recipe, please see note below regarding the use ofraw eggs in foods not cooked.

Recipe: Non-Alcoholic Eggnog

6 fresh eggs*1 cup granulated sugar – divided use2 cups heavy cream2 cups milk1 tablespoon vanilla extract1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmegFreshly grated nutmeg for sprinkling

  • In large bowl, beat whites until fluffy;add 1/2 cup sugar.
  • In an another larger bowl beat yolks untilcreamy; add 1/2 cup sugar. Fold egg whitesinto beaten yolks. Carefully stir in the cream, milk and nutmeg.Pour into a large punch bowl.
  • To serve, ladle into cups and sprinkletop with nutmeg, as desired.

    Makes 6 to 8 servings.

    Note: Please exercise caution when usingraw eggs in prepared food that is uncooked (see FoodSafety). We suggest using a pasteurized egg product for thisrecipe.
