Fast and easy, peanut butter and butterscotchtreats the whole family will love.
Recipe: No-Bake ButterscotchHaystacks
1 cup butterscotch chips
Line cookie sheet with wax paper.
In a medium microwave-safe bowl combinebutterscotch chips, peanut butter chips and shortening and microwaveat HIGH (100%) for 1 minute; stir. If necessary, microwave atHIGH an additional 15 seconds at a time, stirring after eachheating, just until chips are melted and mixture is smooth whenstirred.
Stir in chow mein noodles, stirring untilwell coated. (Noodles will break up, which is desirable.)
Drop by heaping teaspoonfulss onto preparedcookie sheet; let stand until firm, or refrigerate until firm.
1 cup peanut butter chips
1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
2 cups chow mein noodles
Makes about 2 dozen candies.
