No-Bake Apricot Cream Bars recipe

Simply irresistible, these no-bake barshave a chocolate crumb crust and a creamy, honey-sweet apricotand toasted hazelnut filling.

Recipe: No-Bake Apricot CreamBars

1 1/2 cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs,about 9 crackers
1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
1/2 cup creme (spreadable) honey
1/2 cup finely chopped dried apricots
1/2 cup finely chopped toasted hazelnuts

  • Line 8-inch square baking pan with plasticwrap.
  • In medium bowl, mix together crumbs andbutter. Press half of mixture into pan. Chill until firm.
  • In small bowl, blend honey with apricotsand hazelnuts. Spread mixture over crust. Sprinkle with remainingcrumb mixture. Press lightly with fingertips. Chill until firm.
  • Cut into 2-inch squares. Bars may be storedin refrigerator or at room temperature in an airtight container.

    Makes 16 bars.
