Monster Claws.

With almond claws and crunchy candy bitsembedded in a chocolate and peanut butter mixture, there’s notip-toeing around the delicious taste of these monsterous treats.Perfect for Halloween, each cookie leaves a footprint of flavorin your mouth.

Recipe: Monster Claws

1 (16.5-ounce) package NESTL ®TOLL HOUSE® Refrigerated Sugar Cookie Bar Dough, preparedaccording to package directions
3/4 cup NESTL ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet ChocolateMorsels, melted according to package directions
2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
2 tablespoons slivered almonds, toasted if desired
3 Fun Size NESTL BUTTERFINGER or NESTL CRUNCHCandy Bars, chopped

  • Combine melted morsels and peanut butterin small bowl; stir until smooth. Spread mixture evenly ontocookies in an approximate kidney bean shape (foot shape).
  • Place 4 almond slivers halfway into thewide end (top of the foot) of the chocolate. The almonds shouldstick out from the cookie.
  • Sprinkle about 1 teaspoon chopped candybar over the chocolate. Enjoy!

    Makes 24 cookies.

    I like monster costumes. Unfortunately, most of them out there look cheesy, are too expensive, or both, so I end up making a lot of my own pieces. One piece I specifically have had trouble finding is some decent claws.


    Arrange 4 claws on large serving plate to resemble each of the monster s 2 hands.
