Mixed Baby Greens with Easy Balsamic Vinaigrette recipe

Extraordinarily easy to make, extraordinaryin taste!

Recipe: Mixed Baby Greenswith Easy Balsamic Vinaigrette

1/3 cup balsamic vinegar2 teaspoons packed dark brown sugar2/3 cup extra virgin olive oilSalt and freshly ground black pepper totaste1 (12-ounce) package mixed baby greensFreshly shaved Parmesan cheese for garnish*

  • Whisk the balsamic vinegar and brown sugartogether a small bowl (placed atop a damp towel to stabilize)until sugar has dissolved. Slowly pour in the olive oil in asmall stream while whisking constantly until all has been incorporatedand the vinaigrette is emulsified. Season to taste with saltand pepper.
  • Toss baby greens with just enough dressingto lightly coat leaves.
  • To served sprinkle with Parmesan shavingsand offer additional vinaigrette according to personal preference.
  • Refrigerate unused vinaigrette.

    Makes 4 servings.

    *Use a vegetable peeler.
