Mini Chip Snowball Cookies recipe

Mini Chip Snowball Cookies.

These ‘snowballs’ will add an attractivecontrast to your holiday cookie selection with their round shapeand powdered sugar coating.

Recipe: Mini Chip SnowballCookies

1 1/2 cups butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup powdered sugar, plus extra for sprinkling
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 (12-ounce) package NESTL ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-SweetChocolate Mini Morsels
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Beat butter, sugar, vanilla extract andsalt in large mixer bowl until creamy. Gradually beat in flour;stir in morsels and nuts. Shape level tablespoons of dough into1 1/4-inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookiesare set and lightly browned. Remove from oven. Sift powderedsugar over hot cookies on baking sheets. Cool on baking sheetsfor 10 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely. Sprinklewith additional powdered sugar if desired. Store in airtightcontainers.

    It s funny; as a food blogger I add new things to cookies and bars all the time. I ll make a basic chocolate chip cookie recipe and then add Kit Kats . Or I ll make brownies and top them with different kinds of frosting .
