Mexican Tortilla Appetizers recipe

Quick and easy to prepare, these cheesytortilla wedges are delicious topped-off with your favorite Mexicantoppings. Your guests are sure to ask for them again and again.

Recipe: Mexican TortillaAppetizers

6 (6-inch) fajita-size flour tortillas
1 (16-ounce) can ORTEGA® Refried Beans
1/2 cup ORTEGA Taco Sauce
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
3 green onions, sliced
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper (optional)
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack or Mexican blend cheese

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).Place tortillas on baking sheet(s).
  • Bake for 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp.
  • Spread beans evenly over tortillas. Spreadtaco sauce evenly over beans. Top with bell peppers, green onionsand crushed red pepper. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Bake for 7 to 8 minutes, or until cheeseis melted. Cut into wedges.

    Makes 12 appetizer servings.
