Recipe: Mexican Pinwheels

2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened1 (1-ounce) package Hidden Valley RanchOriginal Salad Dressing Mix2 green onions, minced.4 (12-inch) flour tortillas1 (4-ounce) jar diced pimentos1 (4-ounce) can diced green chilies1 (2.25-ounce) can sliced black olivesSalsa

  • Mix first three ingredients. Spread ontortillas.
  • Drain vegetables and blot dry on papertowels. Sprinkle equal amounts of remainingingredients on top of cream cheese. Roll tortillas tightly.
  • Chill at least 2 hours. Cut rolls intopieces. Discard ends. Serve with spiralsfacing up with salsa.

    Makes 3 dozen.

    The pinwheels look and sound yummy! Is there something other than the vegan cheese spread I could use to start? I don t think I will find it in stores. I live in Canada How and where would one enjoy a Mexican pinwheel? I d suggest making these to snack on during the week, or for gatherings with friends. No one will guess they re vegan promise.
