Mexican Dip with Cheddar recipe

Mexican Dip with Cheddar Cheese.

Serve this Mexican-style cold cheese dipwith tortilla chips and fresh vegetables for dipping.

Recipe: Mexican Dip withCheddar

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 package ranch salad dressing mix
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup (4 ounces) finely shredded Wisconsin Sharp cheddar cheese
1 tomato, chopped
1 (2 1/2-ounce) can green chiles

  • In a blender or food processor, combineall ingredients. Blend until well-mixed and almost smooth. Chillbefore serving.
  • Serve with tortilla chips and fresh vegetablesfor dipping.

    Makes 12 servings.

    Tip: For milder flavor, use Wisconsin Colbyor Wisconsin Mild Cheddar cheese.

    My husband really liked this as well and made a good point, this recipe makes like $30 worth of queso! If you get a bowl of queso at a Mexican restaurant it s like $5 for a tiny little serving! I m dying to try your recipe! My husband and I have been on a quest to make dip like this for years but never perfected it. Just curious though, since the cumin is optional, do you like it with or without the cumin?
