Melted Cheese Dip recipe

Melted Cheese Dip.

Homemade tortilla chips or fresh veggiesticks next to a bowl of this dip is a party waiting to happen;just add people!

Recipe: Melted Cheese Dip

4 cups four cheese Mexican blend shreddedcheese
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup non-alcoholic beer
1 (4-ounce) can ORTEGA® Diced Green Chiles
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • Combine cheese and flour in large bowl.Bring beer to boil in medium, heavy-duty saucepan. Reduce heatto low.
  • Add cheese mixture, 1/2 cup at a time,stirring constantly until cheese is melted. Repeat with remainingcheese; stir until thickened. Do not boil.
  • Stir in chiles, cilantro, salt and pepper.Pour immediately into 8-inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle with jalapeños and drizzlewith taco sauce, if desired. Serve immediately or keep warm inoven. Serve with tortilla chips.
