A marbled mixture of white and milk chocolatetop these yummy toffee-flavored oat bars.
Recipe: Marbled Toffee Bars
3 cups quick-cooking oats1/2 cup butter, melted3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar1/3 cup light corn syrup2 teaspoons vanilla extract1/2 teaspoon salt1 cup NESTL ® TOLL HOUSE®Premier White Morsels1 cup NESTL ® TOLL HOUSE®Milk Chocolate Morsels1/4 cup nuts, finely chopped
Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).Line 13×9-inch baking pan with aluminum foil, extending endsover pan; grease foil.
For Bars: Combine oats and butter in largebowl; mix until well coated. Add brown sugar, corn syrup, vanillaextract and salt; mix well. Press oat mixture firmly onto preparedpan.
Bake for 12 to 16 minutes or until lightgolden brown. Sprinkle with morsels. Let stand 2 to 3 minutesuntil softened. Spread morsels over bar with metal spatula orknife for a marbled effect. Sprinkle with nuts.
Cover; refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours untilchocolate is set. Lift bar to cutting board, using ends of foilas handles. Carefully peel off foil; cut into bars. Store tightlycovered in refrigerator.
Makes 24 bars.
