A little dry sherry combined with creamcheese and camembert or brie cheese is stuffed into cored appleswhich are chilled for several hours and then sliced into wedgesto serve.
Recipe: Lynn’s Apples
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 ounces Wisconsin Camembert or Brie cheese, cut up
1 tablespoon dry sherry
6 large apples
Makes 12 servings.
Variation: Substitute 1/2 cup (2 ounces)crumbled Wisconsin Blue cheese for Camembert or Brie.
