Lowfat Date Yogurt Shake recipe

Almost a meal in itself with a candy likesweetness. The sweet golden flesh of dates, banana and orangejuice blend together nicely.

Recipe: Lowfat Date YogurtShake

1/2 cup pitted dates
1/2 peeled banana
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup low-fat yogurt
1/2 cup ice cubes

  • Combine dates, banana and orange juicein a blender and puree until the dates are finely chopped, about4 minutes.
  • Add yogurt and ice cubes; process at highspeed until smooth. Serve immediately.
