Recipe: Linda’s Belgian Waffles
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup buckwheat flour
1 large egg
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons baking powder
1 tablespoon wheat germ (optional)
Mixed fruit (optional)
1 tablespoon whipped cream (optional)
1 tablespoon powdered sugar (optional)
Makes 8 pancakes or 3 large waffles.
