Limburger on Slivered Rye recipe

Serve from a large plank using a hollowedred onion filled with limburger and garnished with parsley.

Recipe: Limburger on SliveredRye

1 pound Wisconsin Limburger cheese
1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
24 party rye bread slices, toasted
2 radishes, thinly sliced
Sprigs of Italian (flat leaf) parsley

  • Using a melon baller, scoop and form smallballs from Limburger cheese. Place on onion-topped party ryebread slices. Garnish with radish slice and a parsley sprig.

    Makes about 50 servings.
