Layered Spaghetti Pie recipe
This recipe, with just a few added ingredients,turns leftover spaghetti sauce and pasta into a delicious newdish…which (in our opinion) makes it a 5-star “leftovermakeover” dish. That said, it’s also good to know that thereis no need to wait for leftovers to make this tasty dish!

Recipe: Layered SpaghettiPie
2 large eggs – divided use1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese -divided use3/4 teaspoon kosher or sea salt – divideduseFreshly ground black pepper to tasteApproximately 3 to 4 cups cooked spaghettipasta* (or 6 to 8 ounces uncooked spaghetti)8 ounces (or scant 1 cup) ricotta cheese1 teaspoon dried parsley2 cups (8 ounces) shredded mozzarellacheese – divided use2 cups spaghetti or marinara sauce*
Makes 6 servings.
*The amount of cooked spaghetti pasta doesn’thave to be exact, a little more or a little less won’t make muchdifference taste-wise. Recipe can be doubled and baked in a 13x 9-inch pan.
