Kiwifruit Mint Lemonade recipe

Kiwifruit Mint Lemonade.

A refreshing, sweet-tart and minty kiwifruitlemonade.

Recipe: Kiwifruit Mint Lemonade

1 cup water
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed fresh mint leaves
3 California kiwifruit
2 to 3 lemons
Sparkling water

  • In a medium saucepan, heat water withsugar over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until sugaris dissolved. Simmer, uncovered, for five minutes. Remove fromheat and stir in mint leaves. Let stand 20 minutes
  • Meanwhile, peel kiwifruit and cut intochunks. Puree in a food processor. Place puree in a pitcher.Strain cooled syrup into pitcher, pressing on mint, then discardleaves. Refrigerate until cold.
  • Squeeze juice from 2 lemons. Stir intokiwifruit mixture. Taste, squeeze in juice from remaining lemonfor a more tart lemonade.
  • Pour into glasses. Top with sparklingwater. Serve garnished with a slice of kiwifruit.

    Anyways I hope you have an opportunity to try out this lemonade recipe. Truth be told it s worth even having when it s cold. It s that yummy. I recently made sparkling lavender lemonade and it was amazing I m wondering if I could add champagne to this to make it sparkling and of course what girl doesn t like something fruity and fizzy to sip from?
