Recipe: Johnny Cake
1 cup cornmeal, yellow or white1 teaspoon baking powder1/2 teaspoon baking soda1/2 teaspoon salt2 large eggs1 cup cream-style corn1/4 cup vegetable oil1 cup sour cream
Makes 8 servings.
Cooks Note: For a crispier crust, heatskillet until nearly smoking-hot before adding batter. Bake asdescribed above.
