Italians prefer olive oil instead of butterwith their bread. Using garlic powder is preferable for thisrecipe. Fresh garlic can be overwhelming and give the bread abitter taste. The health benefits of using olive oil over butteris definitely on the plus side, too!

This is the best garlic bread I have ever tasted. Adjust the ingredients as necessary until the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese and garlic powder mixture is a paste-like consistency.
