Instant Napoleons recipe

Puff pastry and instant chocolate puddingmake easy work of assembling these Napoleons.

Recipe: Instant Napoleons

1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
1 (4 1/2-ounce) package instant chocolate pudding
1 cup plain yogurt
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon milk
2 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  • Cut pastry into 4 strips, 2 1/2-incheswide. Cut each strip crosswise into thirds. Bake strips on anungreased baking sheet for 12 to 15 minutes.
  • Prepare pudding according to package directions,substituting yogurt for the milk.
  • Cut pastry rectangles in half, makinga top and bottom. Generously spoon pudding on bottom half andtop with the other half. Blend sugar and milk. Spread on topand drizzle with the melted chocolate.

    Makes 12 servings.

    Sorry about the confusion! If you want to make 6 napoleons then they ll each have 2 layers of pastry. If you want to make 4 napoleons then they ll each have 3 layers. It is just up to you how you want to split it up! im confused on the number of servings one sheet makes 3 napoleans or 6? if i split all 6 in half horozontaly i end up with 12 pieces. how many layers of pastry does each napolean use? from the recipe it seems like just 2 halves each. help please? LOL
