Hot Cheese Bread.

Try this delicious and fun way to dressup a plain loaf of bread. It’s an easy and quick alternativeto standard garlic bread. This bread recipe can also be preparedon the grill over indirect heat.

Recipe: Hot Cheese Bread

1 (11-ounce) package frozen Welsh rarebit,defrosted according to package directions
1 (16-ounce) loaf Italian or French bread, unsliced

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  • Slice bread into 3/4-inch slices to within1/4-inch of bottom crust. Be careful not to slice through thebottom of the crust.
  • Spread welsh rarebit on both sides ofeach slice. Wrap loaf in foil, keeping top exposed.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until breadis browned and crispy.

    Makes 24 servings.
