Honey-Poppy Seed Dressing.

A delicious and refreshing low-fat dressingmade with yogurt, poppy seeds, a touch of honey and a pinch ofgrated orange rind. Try it with a simple green leaf salad andsupremed orange segments*, or with a fresh fruit salad.

Recipe: Honey-Poppy SeedDressing

1 cup (8 ounces) plain yogurt
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon orange juice
1/2 teaspoon cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon grated orange peel1/4 teaspoon kosher or sea salt (optional)

  • Whisk all ingredients together until wellcombined and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

    Makes 1 cup or 8 (2 tablespoon) servings.Recipe may be doubled.

    *To Supreme an Orange: Using a paring knife,remove the skin, pith, and outer membrane from the citrus fruit.Carefully cut each segment away from white membranes.
