Honey Dijon Mustard Vinaigrette recipe

Homemade salad dressings taste better,are economical and simple to prepare. This honey-Dijon vinaigretteis delicious served with a variety of vegetable, lettuce andpasta salads.

Recipe: Honey Dijon MustardVinaigrette

2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt or taste1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepperor to taste1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • In a small mixing bowl, whisk togetherthe vinegar, honey, mustard, garlic, salt and pepper.
  • While continuing to whisk mixture, slowlypour in vegetable oil in a small stream, whisking constantlyuntil fully incorporated and slightly thickened. (Place the bowlon a damp tea towel to prevent it from slipping.)
  • Store any unused portion in the refrigerator.

    Makes about 1 cup.
