Honey Baked French Toast recipe

Honey-sweetened French toast casserole.

Recipe: Honey Baked FrenchToast

15 large eggs
3 cups (1 1/2 pints) heavy cream
1/2 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 loaf French BreadMaple syrup for accompaniment

  • Beat eggs, cream, honey and nutmeg together.
  • Slice bread into 10 slices. Dip into eggmixture and arrange in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Pourremaining egg mixture over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight-turningslices once.
  • Uncover and bake at 350°F (175°C)for 1 hour. Serve with warm maple syrup.

    Makes 12 servings.
