Hearty Tex-Mex Chili Soup.

Hearty beans, ground beef and sausage arespiced with lively taco seasoning and accented with diced greenchiles in this easy chili soup. A quick-fix meal that will wardoff the chill on a blustery day or feed a horde of armchair quarterbackson game day!

Recipe: Hearty Tex-Mex ChiliSoup

1/2 pound ground beef, cooked and drained
1/2 pound sausage, cooked and drained
1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans, undrained
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
2 (14.5-ounce) cans diced Mexican-style tomatoes
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (7-ounce) can diced green chiles
1 (1.25-ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 small onion, chopped
2 cups loose-pack frozen corn
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
2 cups water

  • Combine all ingredients in a large saucepanand bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook for 20 to 25 minutes.

    Makes 8 servings.
