Recipe: Hash Brown Casserole

2 cups (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese3 (4-ounce) cartons cholesterol-free eggproduct or 6 large eggs, well beaten1 (12-ounce) can NESTL ® CARNATION®Evaporated Fat Free (or regular) Milk1 teaspoon salt (optional)1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper1 (30-ounce) package frozen shredded hashbrown potatoes1 medium onion, chopped1 small green bell pepper, chopped10 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped,or 1 cup diced ham

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).Grease 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  • Combine cheese, egg product, evaporatedmilk, salt and black pepper in large bowl. Add potatoes, onion,bell pepper and bacon, mix well. Pour mixture into prepared bakingdish.
  • Bake for 60 to 65 minutes or until set.

    Makes 12 servings.
