Half-Time Crab Dip recipe

Game time, half-time or anytime, this isa tasty crab dip.

Recipe: Half-Time Crab Dip

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened1/4 cup milk1 (6-ounce) can crab meat, drained, flakedand cartilage removed (see note)1/4 cup slice green onion1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper1 teaspoon curry powder, or to taste1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon garlic powderAssorted crackers and/or chips

  • In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese andmilk until smooth. Stir in the crab, onions, red pepper, currypowder, salt and garlic powder. Refrigerate until serving time.
  • Serve with crackers and/or chips.

    Makes 3 cups.

    Cook’s Note: Of course, if you have accessto fresh, by all means go for it! Or if you need to economize,try substituting with 1 (8-ounce) package imitation flaked crabmeat.
