Recipe: Grilled Lemon Salmon
2 teaspoons snipped fresh dill or 3/4teaspoon dill weed1/2 teaspoon kosher or sea salt1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper1 (1 1/2 pound) salmon fillet1/4 cup brown sugar, packed3 tablespoons chicken broth3 tablespoons vegetable oil3 tablespoons soy sauce3 tablespoons finely chopped green onions2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice1 teaspoon lemon peel2 garlic cloves, finely minced1 small lemon, thinly sliced2 slices of white, red or yellow onion,separated into rings

*Alternative Cooking Method: You can alsocook the salmon on an cedar plank approved for cooking. Firstsoak the cedar plank in water for at least 30 minutes, generouslyoil the top of it and place the prepared salmon onto the preparedplank, cover with foil and cook over indirect heat on a medium-hotgrill for 25 to 30 minutes, or until fish flakes easily.
