Rich chocolate marshmallow fudge that’sjust plain good!
Recipe: Good & Rich ChocolateFudge
4 cups granulated sugar1/2 cup butter1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk1 (12-ounce) package semisweet chocolatechips3 (4-ounce) bars sweet baking chocolate,broken1 (7-ounce) jar marshmallow creme1 tablespoon vanilla extract1 cup chopped walnuts, toasted (optional)
Line a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan withlightly buttered waxed paper or aluminum foil. Set aside.
In large saucepan combine sugar, butterand evaporated milk. Cook over medium-highheat, stirring constantly, until mixturecomes to a full boil. Reduce heat to medium and cookfor 7 or 8 minutes or until candy thermometerreaches 236°F / 110°C, (a smallamount dropped in cold water forms a soft ball that flattenswhen removed from water), stirring occasionally. Remove fromheat.
Stir in chocolate chips and sweet chocolateuntil melted. Add the marshmallow creme,vanilla and walnuts and mix well.
Spread in prepared pan. Cool completelyat room temperature. Invert pan, peeloff paper and cut into 1-inch squares. Store covered, in coolplace.
Makes about 5 pounds candy.
