What could be easier? Cold milk and a frozenbanana create a thick and creamy smoothie that’s as simple tomake as it is yummy…plus it’s good for you, too! (And kidslove it!)

Recipe: Goin’ Bananas Smoothie

1 1/2 cups 2% milk
1 medium frozen banana, broken into chunks
2 teaspoons granulated or brown sugar (or honey or artificialsweetener), if desired
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • In a blender, combine milk, frozen banana,sugar, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth, about 20 seconds.
  • Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

    Makes 2 servings.
