Gingered Cherry Sauce recipe

This tasty gingered cherry sauce is excellentwith ham or pork.

Recipe: Gingered Cherry Sauce

1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
3/4 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon grated lime peel

  • Combine cherry pie filling, honey, limejuice, ginger, dry mustrad and lime peel in a medium saucepan;mix well. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 1 minute, stirring frequently.

    Makes 2 cups.
