Garlicky Lamb Chops recipe

A simple marinade of garlic and fresh rosemarywill inundate your home with a wonderful aroma. Serve this lambchops with a green salad a loaf of French bread. This recipecan be prepared on the grill, too!

Recipe: Garlicky Lamb Chops

6 cloves garlic, finely minced
1/3 cup olive oil
1/2 lemon, juiced
2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, crushed
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
8 lamb chops

  • Pre-heat broiler.
  • In a small bowl combine garlic, oliveoil, rosemary, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well.Coat lamb chops well with oil mixture. Shake excess oil off chopsand place on a broiling pan. Broil 3 inches to 4 inches fromheat.
  • Broil 11 to 15 minutes*, turning overonce.
  • Remove from broiler and let rest for 5minutes prior to serving.

    Makes 6 servings.

    *Lamb is rare at 130°F, medium at 145°Fand well-done at 160°F.

    The lamb was wonderful, I marinaded and left it overnight in the fridge. Left the sultanas out as we don’t like them, also as mentioned peas and spinach are not in the recipe list. Really don’t think we missed anything but not having them. The veg were fabulously zingy and cut through the lamb perfectly! Love the new look or think we’ve missed the mark?
