Garlic-Scented Whipped Potatoes recipe

Light and creamy, seasoned with a hintof garlic, this dish will go great with any meat.

Recipe: Garlic-Scented WhippedPotatoes

2 1/2 pounds potatoes, peeled, quarteredand cooked1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened2/3 cup sour cream1/4 cup butter, softened1/4 teaspoon garlic powderSalt and freshly ground black pepper totastePaprika for sprinkling

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).Grease a 1 1/2 quart baking dish; set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mash the potatoes. Addthe cream cheese, sour cream, butter, garlic powder,salt and pepper; beat until smooth. Spoon into prepared bakingdish and sprinkle with paprika.
  • Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes or untilheated through.

    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
