Garlic Prawns in Lemon Butter recipe

These succulent garlic prawns in buttersauce are a simple extravagance.

Recipe: Garlic Prawns inLemon Butter

2 pounds extra large prawns, peeled anddeveined
1/2 cup butter – divided use
4 large cloves garlic, finely minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-highheat. Melt 2 tablespoons butter and when foam subsides, sautprawns for 2 minutes, or until just pink.
  • Add garlic, tossing quickly, so as notto burn. Add remaining butter and stir until melted. Season withsalt, pepper and lemon juice.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with parsley.Serve immediately.

    Makes 4 servings.

    Garlic and butter. The two greatest pleasures in life. The two ingredients I could probably live off of for the rest of my life. And when you combine these two in a glorious shrimp skillet, well, it s nothing short of perfection. This looks amazkng! I am soooo making it today! On the ingredient list you said 2 tbs fresh cilantro but in the instructions you said to garnish with fresh parsley. Could you specify which one we should use?
