Garlic Chicken Burritos recipe

Garlic Chicken Burritos.

Diced green chiles and salsa liven up burritoswhile lemon and lime juice bring a touch of tang.

Recipe: Garlic Chicken Burritos

2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/2 cup diced green chiles
8 flour tortillas
2 cups shredded low fat Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese
16 ounces salsa
1 lime, cut into 4 wedges

  • Preheat oven to broil.
  • Prepare Garlic Chicken according to packageinstructions, adding chiles and lime juice. Wrap tortillas indamp towel; microwave on high 40 to 50 seconds or until warm.
  • For Each Burrito: spoon one eighth chickenmixture across center of tortilla. Top filling with 1/4 cup cheeseand 2 tablespoons salsa. Fold in both sides. Place burrito foldedside down on broiler-safe pan or platter. Repeat.
  • Broil 1 minute or until browned. Servewith remaining salsa and lime wedges.

    I made these tonight! I doubled the recipe since I had a whole lot of ground chicken. Also due to a chili intolorance I omitted the cayenne and roasted a red bell pepper for the sauce. They were the best burritos I ve ever made, thanks so much for the recipe! I made these for dinner last night, and they were so delicious! All of the flavors went together so well, and they tasted phenomenal. Thanks so much for a new favorite! ??
