Recipe: Ganache-Topped Brownies
3/4 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2/3 cup butter, melted – divided use
1/2 cup boiling water
2 cups granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips – divided use
Ganache:
2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup whipping cream
Makes 24 brownies.
