Fruit Kabobs recipe

A terrific way to include young cooks indinner preparation time and to introduce new fruit to the family.Keep an eye on small cooks so they are safe.

Recipe: Fruit Kabobs

2 cups fresh watermelon, cut in 1-inchcubes
1 cup fresh grapes
2 cups fresh strawberries
1 cup fresh or canned pineapple chunks
4 wooden skewers (soak in water to prevent splintering)

  • Thread fruit onto skewers in any order.Substitute or add other favorite fruits, such as cantaloupe,kiwi, honeydew melon, Mandarin oranges and cherries.

    Makes 4.
