Fruit & Honey Oatmeal Bars recipe

Fruit & Honey Oatmeal Bars.

No-bake crispy rice bars partially sweetenedwith honey and enhanced with wholesome oats and dried fruits.

Recipe: Fruit & HoneyOatmeal Bars

1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup butter
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 (6-ounce) package diced dried mixed fruit (about 1 1/3 cups)
1 1/2 cups crispy rice cereal
1 cup Quaker® Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)

  • In medium saucepan, heat honey, butter,sugar and cinnamon over medium-low heat until butter is melted,stirring frequently. Bring to a boil; cook 1 minute, stirringconstantly. Remove from heat. Stir in dried fruit, rice cerealand oats until evenly coated.
  • Press mixture evenly onto bottom of ungreased8-inch square baking pan. Cool completely. Cut into bars. Storetightly covered in refrigerator.

    Makes 24 bars.
