Frozen Halloween Dessert recipe

Orange sherbet is spread over a cream-filledchocolate cookie crumb crust and drizzled with chocolate sauce.It’s so easy and good, it’s spooky.

Recipe: Frozen HalloweenDessert

20 cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies,crushed
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 quarts orange sherbet, slightly softened
2 squares baking chocolate
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
1 cup pecans, chopped

  • In a bowl combine 20 crushed cream sandwichcookies and melted butter. Press into a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.Spread orange sherbet over the crumb layer. Freeze until firm.
  • In the top of a double boiler, combinebaking chocolate, sugar, and evaporated milk. Cook, stirringconstantly, until smooth. Cool. Drizzle over the sherbet andsprinkle with chopped pecans. Keep frozen until served.

    Makes 16 servings.
