Frozen Custard Caramel Butter Sundae.

Watch the smiles appear when you servethis scrumptious sundae — homemade buttery caramel and toastedpecan sauce with fresh banana is served over frozen vanilla custard.

Recipe: Frozen Custard CaramelButter Sundae

3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup whipping cream
6 small bananas, quartered
Vanilla frozen custard or ice cream

  • Melt butter in 2-quart saucepan over mediumheat. Add pecans; saut 3 minutes or until foamy and fragrant.
  • Stir in brown sugar and whipping cream.Bring to boil; continue boiling 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.Remove from heat.
  • Gently stir in bananas; let stand 5 minutes.
  • Serve over vanilla frozen custard (orice cream).

    Makes 6 servings.
