Frightfully Easy Ghost Cookies recipe

These spooktacular Halloween cookies areas easy as they are yummy. Oblong peanut butter cookies are dippedin melted white chocolate and given two mini chocolate chip ‘eyes’.

Recipe: Frightfully EasyGhost Cookies

1 (12-ounce) bag white chocolate chips1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
1 (16-ounce) package oblong peanut butter cookies
1 (6-ounce) package miniature chocolate chips

  • In small saucepan, melt chocolate chipsand shortening together over low heat, stirring constantly untilsmooth.
  • Line baking sheets with waxed paper.
  • Holding cookies with tongs, dip entiretop and sides of each cookie into melted chocolate, letting excessdrip off. Lay flat, coated side up, on prepared baking sheets.
  • Place two miniature chocolate chips inchocolate to form eyes. Let stand until set.

    Makes 32 cookies.
