French Fudge recipe

Luscious fudge is a favorite for givingto family, sweethearts and friends. French patisseries slip abit into croissants for a sweet surprise. Vanilla adds the lasttouch to this glossy and rich confection.

Recipe: French Fudge

3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts

  • Melt semisweet chocolate chips with sweetenedcondensed milk using a double boiler; mix well. Remove from heat.
  • Add vanilla, salt and nuts. Stir untilsmooth. Pour into 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan lined with wax paper. Chill.Cut into 2-inch squares.

    Makes 16 candies.
