Fast and Favorite Focaccia Bread recipe

Ready-made pizza dough makes more thanpizza, it makes fast and tasty focaccia bread.

Recipe: Fast and FavoriteFocaccia Bread

1 pound prepared pizza dough (call yourlocal pizzaria to see if they sell unbaked dough)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon chopped dried rosemary
1/4 teaspoon sea salt

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).Lightly oil a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  • Press pizza dough into pan. Brush evenlywith oil. Sprinkle garlic and rosemary over focaccia. Seasonwith salt.
  • Using a fork, poke holes throughout thefocaccia.
  • Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.Cut into strips or squares and serve warm.

    Makes 8 servings.

    Cooking Tip: Serve with a small bowl ofseasoned olive oil for dipping.

    No one else in my family could make focaccia like Grandma did, and when she passed away we thought she took the recipe with her. Then one day I found it in an old recipe box and gave it a try. If Grandpa says it s just like Grandma s, then it must be.
