Excellent Breakfast Casserole recipe

Recipe: Excellent BreakfastCasserole

12 slices bread
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese – divided use
1/2 pound diced ham
4 large eggs
2 1/2 cups milk
3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

  • In a 13 x 9-inch casserole dish, layer6 slices of bread, 1 cup of cheese, and half of the diced ham.Then layer the remaining bread, cheese and ham.
  • In a small bowl, mix eggs, milk and mustard.Pour milk mixture all over casserole. Then pour on cream of mushroomsoup.
  • Let it refrigerate overnight, or at least8 hours.
  • Bake at 325°F (160°C) uncoveredfor 1 hour 15 minutes.

    Makes 8 servings.
