An easy chocolate pudding version of theclassic ‘Poke Cake’.
Recipe: Easy Pudding Cake
3 large eggs
Prepare chocolate cake mix according tothe package directions for a 13 x 9-inch cake pan. Bake and removefrom the oven; with the handle of a wooden spoon immediatelypoke holes in the cake about 1-inch apart.
In a bowl combine pudding mix and powderedsugar. Gradually beat in cold milk with an electric mixer atlow speed until combined. Mix for 1 minute; quickly pour halfof the thin pudding evenly over the warm cake and into the holes.Allow the remaining pudding to thicken; spread evenly over thetop of the cake. Chill for 1 hour.
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 (18.25-ounce) package chocolate cake mix
1 (7-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup powdered sugar
4 cups cold milk
Makes 16 servings.
