Easy No-Bake Crunchy Cranberry Almond Bars.

A familiar marshmallow base is the cohesivethat binds together these scrumptious bars laced with white chocolatemorsels, sweetened dried cranberries and sliced almonds.

Recipe: Easy No-Bake CrunchyCranberry Almond Bars

Nonstick cooking spray
4 cups miniature marshmallows
1/4 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups (12-ounce package) NESTL ® TOLL HOUSE®Premier White Morsels – divided use
4 cups toasted wheat cereal squares
3/4 cup sweetened dried cranberries*
3/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted**

  • Line a 13 x 9-inch baking pan with foilleaving an overhang on two sides. Spray foil with nonstick cookingspray.
  • Heat marshmallows, butter and salt inlarge, heavy-duty saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring frequently,for 5 to 10 minutes, until smooth. Remove from heat. Add 1 cupmorsels; stir until melted.
  • Working quickly, stir in cereal, cranberries,almonds and remaining 1 cup morsels. Spread mixture into preparedbaking pan with greased spatula, pressing down lightly.
  • Cool for 2 hours or until set. Lift frompan; peel off foil. Cut into bars with serrated knife.

    Makes 24 bars.

    *Any dried fruit can be substituted suchas dried cherries, blueberries, raisins, chopped dates, choppedapricots, etc.

    **To toast almonds, bake at 350°F (175°C)until light golden brown, about 8 minutes, stirring frequently.

    Thank you. Great recipe, all the measurements worked well and the second time I made it with almonds instead and I enjoyed that combination even more. Great that no baking is required. Ahhh what is it about men and food?! My boyfriend is the same way, he could eat 2 burritos like it s nothing and still looks amazing!! Thanks for the granola bar recipe
