Different Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe

These cookies are different because theyhave wheat flour, sesame seeds and sunflower seeds in additionto the traditional chocolate chips.

Recipe: Different ChocolateChip Cookies

1 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 (12-ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup sunflower seed, shelled
1/2 cup sesame seed

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  • In a medium mixing bowl cream togetherbutter and brown sugar; beating until light and fluffy. Beatin eggs and vanilla until combined. Set aside.
  • In another bowl sift together flour, wholewheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Fold intocreamed mixture, beating until mixed. Stir in semi-sweet chocolatechips, sunflower seeds and sesame seeds.
  • Drop dough by rounded teaspoons on cookiesheet.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool slightlyon the cookie sheets. Transfer cookies to wire racks.

    Makes 48 cookies.

    Cool! Back in h grade, I messed with chocolate chip cookies for my science fair project. I did things such as doubling or removing ingredients. I remember that double eggs was preferred over the control recipe! Double vanilla was pretty good too, but so was removing the vanilla. Double brown sugar was baaaad!
