Deliciously Rich Chocolate Brownies.

Easily the perfect brownie recipe. Thisdecadent brownie is second to none with a moist, fudgy tasteguaranteed to please any chocolate lover.

Recipe: Deliciously RichChocolate Brownies

10 ounces NESTL ® TOLL HOUSE®Dark Chocolate Baking Bar – divided use
1 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup butter, cut into pieces
2 tablespoons water
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

  • Preheat oven to 325ºF (160ºC).Grease 8-inch-square baking pan. Set aside 2 ounces chocolate(1/2 bar) for drizzle topping.
  • Heat 8 ounces (2 bars broken into smallpieces) sugar, butter and water in small saucepan over low heat,stirring constantly, until chocolate and butter are melted. Pourinto medium bowl. Stir in eggs, one at a time, until mixed in.Stir in vanilla extract. Add flour and salt; stir well. Stirinto nuts, if desired. Pour into prepared baking pan.
  • Bake for 33 to 35 minutes until woodenpick inserted in center comes out still slightly sticky. Coolin pan on wire rack.
  • Place reserved 2 ounces of chocolate brokeninto small pieces, in small, heavy-duty plastic bag. Microwaveon HIGH (100%) power for 20 seconds, knead bag to mix. Microwaveat additional 10-second intervals, kneading until smooth. Cuta small hole in corner of bag; squeeze to drizzle over brownie.Cut into bars.

    Makes 16 brownies.
