Deep Dish Cheese Fudge recipe

That’s right…cheese fudge! It’s cheesy…butit’s creamy and surprisingly good!

Recipe: Deep Dish CheeseFudge

1/2 pound (2 sticks; 1 cup) butter
1/2 pound (2 cups) Wisconsin Pasteurized Processed cheese
2 pounds powdered sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

  • Melt the butter and cheese together ina big bowl in the microwave (or melt in a pan over low heat onthe stove).
  • Add sugar, cocoa and vanilla to meltedmixture. Stir with a wooden spoon or work with your hands untilall the ingredients are well mixed.
  • Pat into a 9-inch pan. Sprinkle the chipsand nuts over top. Pat lightly into fudge. Chill until firmlyset.
  • Cut into small squares to serve.

    Makes 72 (1-inch) squares.
