2 1/2 pounds (6 to 7) Golden Deliciousapples, peeled and thinly sliced
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons orange juice1 teaspoon grated orange peel
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
Pinch ground cloves
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
Pastry for one-crust (9-inch) pie
Makes 8 servings.
